Kunstmuseum Bonn, Oktober 2016<\/p>\n

Auf dem Weg zur \u201eRhein\u201c- Ausstellung in der Bundeskunsthalle<\/a> stie\u00df ich unverhofft auf das Kunstmuseum Bonn.
\nDas Kunstmuseum Bonn und die Bundeskunsthalle bilden, miteinander durch den Museumsplatz verbunden, ein Ensemble auf der \u201eMuseumsmeile Bonn<\/a>\u201c.
\nDas hat mich erst mal wirklich umgehauen. Ich habe – da ja auf dem Weg in die Kunsthalle – nur den Au\u00dfenbereich und das Entree in Augenschein nehmen k\u00f6nnen, aber die haben es auch schon in sich.
\nEs ist moderne Museumsarchitektur \u201eat it\u2019s glance\u201c.
\n\u00dcberw\u00e4ltigend, sakral, einsch\u00fcchternd und irgendwie so suggestiv angelegt, dass man sich selbst – nur dadurch dass man unter dem m\u00e4chtigen Betonsegel flaniert – auch gleich pers\u00f6nlich aufgewertet und \u201eirgendwie kreativ\u201c f\u00fchlt.
\nIch bin sehr gespalten was solche Geb\u00e4ude angeht, auf der eine Seite gefallen mir diese v\u00f6llig \u00fcberzogen Dimensionierungen und merkw\u00fcrdigen Verschachtelungen, auf der anderen Seite strahlen Bauten dieser Art aber auch eine sehr sublime\u00a0K\u00e4lte und Arroganz aus, die wie ich finde, nicht zu einem Kunstmuseum passt \u2013 zumindest nicht wie es meiner Meinung nach sein sollte. Aber vielleicht passt so eine Architektur auch gerade deshalb sehr gut zu einem Kunstmuseum.
\nIch werde auf jeden Fall noch einmal nach Bonn fahren und dem Kunstmuseum einen ganzen Tag meine Aufmerksamkeit widmen.
\nEntworfen worden ist das Museum von Axel Schultes<\/a>, der auch unter anderem f\u00fcr die Kunsthalle Schirn<\/a> in Frankfurt und das Bundeskanzleramt<\/a> in Berlin verantwortlich zeichnet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
