Das Spezifische an der Konnotation von Seen ist, dass sie auf das Subjekt selbst verweisen. Sie fungieren als ein Seelenspiegel.
\nEin See steht immer auch f\u00fcr einen Ort\/Katalysator einer m\u00f6glichen Selbsterkenntnis.<\/p>\n

Das ist schon in der griechischen Mythologie so verankert.<\/p>\n

Als Narziss klein war, befragte seine Mutter einen Seher, ob Ihr Sohn ein langes Leben haben werde.
\nDie Antwort lautete: \u201eJa \u2013 wenn er niemals sich selbst erkennt\u201c.
\nIm Laufe seines Lebens wurde Narziss dazu verdammt, sein – \u00a0zugegebener \u00a0Ma\u00dfen – \u00a0extrem gut aussehendes Spiegelbild in einem See zu begr\u00fcbeln.
\nBekanntlich verliebte er sich so sehr in sich selbst, dass er an dieser Leidenschaft schlie\u00dflich zu Grunde ging.<\/p>\n

An dieser Geschichte h\u00e4ngt noch eine andere, die mehr etwas mit den Bergen zu hat und die ich Euch hier nicht vorenthalten m\u00f6chte.<\/p>\n

Zu den von Narziss verschm\u00e4hten geh\u00f6rte auch Echo – eine Nymphe der Quellen und W\u00e4lder, die sich unsterblich in Ihn verliebt hatte. Diese war wie so oft und damals allgemein \u00fcblich ebenfalls verflucht worden.
\nSie war Ihrer F\u00e4higkeit zu sprechen beraubt worden und konnte nur noch die letzten Silben dessen wiederholen, was Ihr Gegen\u00fcber \u00a0gesagt hatte. Daf\u00fcr verachtete sie Narziss zutiefst.
\nEcho verstarb an gebrochenem Herzen und nur Ihre Stimme blieb von ihr \u00fcbrig.<\/p>\n
