Eine Bilderstrecke aus der \u201eAm Main\u201c Serie. Taumelland war\u00a0mit Dem Rad zwischen Hattersheim, Mainz Kostheim und Wiesbaden unterwegs.<\/h2>\n\n\n

Desto mehr ich mich mit der Landschaft besch\u00e4ftige desto mehr fange ich an sie zu m\u00f6gen.
Es gibt wahrscheinlich kaum einen Quadratzentimeter im gesamten Rhein-Main Gebiet dem nicht eine Funktion oder ein Zweck zugeordnet worden ist. Geschweige denn das es hier eine Allmende oder irgendetwas \u00c4hnliches existieren w\u00fcrde (muss ich aber nochmal genauer \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen). Hier geh\u00f6rt alles irgendwem und wird f\u00fcr irgendetwas vernutzt und sein es auch nur um jetzt – als Spekulationsobjekt – ungenutzt zu einer sp\u00e4teren Nutzung brachzuliegen.
Trotz allem, vielleicht auch gerade deswegen hat die Landschaft einen spezifischen Charakter, zeigt Anmut und strahlt eine W\u00fcrde aus, die jenseits all Ihrer Vernutzung liegt. Mir scheint sie w\u00e4re schon vor langer Zeit sanft eingeschlafen. Vielleicht tr\u00e4umt sie seitdem von der Zeit als sie noch den verborgenen Grund\u00a0 eines Meeres bildete und Seek\u00fche und Haifische \u00fcber sie hinwegschwammen? M\u00f6glicherweise aber h\u00f6rt sie im Traum auch das Trompeten von Waldelefanten, die hier mal ihr Habitat hatten in der Zeit als es in unseren Breiten noch tropisch warm war.
Oder sie erinnert sich \u2013 ruhend – an die 58 randalierenden Vulkane die vor Urzeiten \u00a0im Rhein-Main Gebiet w\u00fcteten und ihr damaliges Antlitz formten. Aber m\u00f6glicherweise tr\u00e4umt sie auch von dem 700 Meter tiefen Krater samt See der von einem der feuerspeienden Rabauken \u00fcbrig geblieben war und aus dem heutigen Tages die Grube Messel geworden ist \u00a0\u2026 ich kann es nicht sagen.
