F\u00fcr taumelland war 2021 das Jahr der Heiden und der Birken. So war taumelland  2021 nicht nur im Oktober im Hohen Venn unterwegs, sondern besuchte auch im August \u2013 rechtzeitig zu deren Bl\u00fcte – die L\u00fcneburger Heide. Das ist nun wirklich \u2013 zumal w\u00e4hrend der Bl\u00fctezeit \u2013 wirklich keine besonders einsame Gegend. Man teilt sich die Heide mit Kutschen, Radfahrern, Wanderern und den mittlerweile unvermeidlichen E-Bikern. Besonders von letzteren sind zwar alle anderen Heidebesucher genervt, aber leider meist auch nur solange, bis sie selbst die Vorteile der Fortbewegung mittels des E-Bikes kennengelernt haben. Und so vermehren sich die E-biker hier und \u00fcberall Jahr f\u00fcr Jahr und wachsen sich, allein durch ihre schiere Masse,  zu einer richtigen Landplage aus. Da lob ich mir die Heidschnucken und Ziegen, die mit ihren Sch\u00e4fern und Hunden \u00fcber die Heide ziehen und diese uralte Kulturlandschaft aktiv pflegen und so zu ihrer Erhaltung beitragen. Ohne sie g\u00e4be es schon lange keine Heide mehr, sondern nur noch eine Wald- und Graslandschaft. Bis heute dienen gro\u00dfe Teile der Heide als Truppen\u00fcbungsplatz, was aber auf den Erhalt der Landschaft und deren Flora und Fauna sich durchaus positiv ausgewirkt hat. So wird die Heide nicht nur, wie schon erw\u00e4hnt, von Ziegen und Schafen gepflegt sondern eben auch von Panzern und Haubitzen. Generell scheint es mir so, dass Truppen\u00fcbungspl\u00e4tze mit Ihren ganzen milit\u00e4rischen Ger\u00e4tschaften f\u00fcr die Natur vertr\u00e4glicher sind als die industrielle Landwirtschaft und die neusten Grillen des Outdoorsports. \u2013 nur mal so nebenbei gesagt \ud83d\ude09.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gewandert ist taumelland unter anderem auf dem sehr empfehlenswerten Heidschnuckenweg und anderen die Heide Landschaft durchmessenden Pfaden. Fasziniert war ich auch hier \u2013 wie sp\u00e4ter auch im Hohen Venn \u2013 von den vielen sch\u00f6nen Birken am Wegesrand. Aber so viel schon mal vorweg, die Birke ist ebenso wenig wie die Eiche die bestimmende Baumart der Heide, sondern das ist der, besonders unter Gin-Freunden sehr beliebte Wachholder \u2013 aber dazu mehr in einem sp\u00e4teren Beitrag. Jetzt erstmal w\u00fcnsche ich euch viel Spa\u00df mit den Birken der L\u00fcneburger Heide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
