In Orbit nennt sich eine Installation des argentinischen K\u00fcnstlers Tom\u00e1s Saraceno<\/a> im K21 <\/a>(Kunstsammlung Nordrheinwestfalen) in D\u00fcsseldorf. Die tonnenschwere Installation besteht aus feinmaschigen Stahlnetzen die f\u00fcnf luftgef\u00fcllte \u201eSph\u00e4ren\u201c umschlie\u00dfen. Die gesamte Konstruktion ist in 25 Meter H\u00f6he unter das Dach des St\u00e4ndehauses (K 21) montiert und auf drei Ebenen frei begehbar.
Und das macht wirklich Spa\u00df! Es beginnt damit, dass man, wie bei einer Reise in den Weltraum alles \u201eirdische\u201c hinter sich lassen muss. Man betritt zuerst den \u201eWeltraumbahnhof\u201c: hier wird \u00fcberpr\u00fcft ob man \u00fcberhaupt geeignet ist, in den Orbit zu starten: Ob man eine Berechtigung dazu hat, \u00fcber passendes Schuhwerk (profilierte Sohlen) verf\u00fcgt, keine gesundheitlichen Probleme hat etc.. Im n\u00e4chsten Schritt wird man dazu aufgefordert alle seine Taschen zu leeren und all die ansonsten unverzichtbaren Dinge wie Smartphone, Portemonnaie,\u00a0 Wohnungsschl\u00fcssel, etc. \u2013 eben alles was potentiell herunterfallen k\u00f6nnte – in daf\u00fcr vorgesehenen Spinte wegschlie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nun bekommt man den „Raumanzug“ – eine taschenlosen grauen Overall – ausgeh\u00e4ndigt, den man sich \u00fcber seine Alltagskleidung streifen muss. So ausstaffiert geht man eine kurze Rampe hinauf und mit einem ersten \u2013 f\u00fcr einen selbst – kleinen Schritt betritt man die eigentliche Installation. \u00a0Es geht erstmal bergab und man muss sich an die Resonanz des Stahlnetzes gew\u00f6hnen. Desto fester man auftritt und desto schneller man unterwegs ist, desto st\u00e4rker und heftiger beginnt das Netz zu schwingen. Man muss also in seiner Fortbewegung einen guten Kompromiss zwischen beherzten Vorw\u00e4rtsschreiten und sanftem Vorantasten finden um nicht von den eigenen Bewegungen quasi \u201eaus dem Orbit geworfen zu werden\u201c und in stolpern zu geraten. Nach einer Weile hat man dann den Bogen raus und bewegt sich nun im Takt seines eigenen \u201eMoonwalks\u201c relativ sicher und ausbalanciert \u00fcber das Stahlnetz und kann damit beginnen die einzelnen Ebenen der Installation zu erkunden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das ist schon ein wenig anstrengend und wenn man durch die transparenten Netzstrukturen 25 Meter in die Tiefe auf den Fu\u00dfboden des Atriums und den kleinen Museumsshop blickt, dann kann einem schon ein wenig mulmig werden.
Wenn man genug von der Einsamkeit des Weltraums bekommen hat, kann man auch in den geselligeren \u201eSpinnenmodus\u201c umschalten. Hierf\u00fcr legt man sich einfach flach auf das Stahlnetz und schlie\u00dft die Augen. \u00a0Das Netz \u00fcbertr\u00e4gt selbstverst\u00e4ndlich nicht nur die eigenen Schwingungen sondern auch die aller anderen Besucher*innen der Installation. So kann man still daliegen und den Bewegungen der Anderen nachsp\u00fcren. Wie weit sind sie wohl entfernt? Aus welcher Richtung kommt die Amplituden etc. \u201eIn Orbit\u201c ist auch ein sehr sinnliches Kunstwerk\u201c.
F\u00fcr Alle, f\u00fcr die Spa\u00df und Kunst kein Widerspruch ist und die au\u00dferdem Schwindelfrei sind, spricht taumelland eine klare Empfehlung zum Besuch der\u00a0 Installation \u201ein Orbit\u201c im K21 aus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
