Er wurde am 16. M\u00e4rz 2016 dem niederl\u00e4ndischen Tag des Waldes er\u00f6ffnet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der aus 20 B\u00e4umen bestehende Wald wiegt sich in recycelten Hochseebojen verwurzelt, auf dem Wasser des alten Hafenbeckens. <br>Auch in Rotterdam nutzt man die aufgegebenen und brachliegenden Fl\u00e4chen alter Hafen- und Industrieanlagen zur Bebauung. Hier entstehen moderne B\u00fcro- und Wohnviertel. Der Bobbing Forest fungiert da auch als eine Art kultureller Leuchtturm.
