Wer h\u00e4tte das gedacht, bei meinen Recherchen habe ich erfahren, dass die Trompeterstra\u00dfe uralt ist – fast 1000 Jahre!
\nSie wurde 1043 erstmalig urkundlich erw\u00e4hnt und ist ein Teilst\u00fcck eines des alten Verbindungsweges zwischen Wiesbaden und dem \u00a0damaligen Lahngau (sie hier<\/a>).\u00a0 Das erkl\u00e4rt auch die etwas r\u00e4tselhaften Baumbest\u00e4nde am Wegesrand der Trompeterstra\u00dfe. Die erinnerten mich von je her schon eher an eine Allee, als an eine Forststra\u00dfe. \u00a0Auch wenn heute davon nicht mehr so viel \u00fcbrig ist, da viele B\u00e4ume nunmehr nur noch Ruinen sind.
\nAuf jeden Fall werde ich beim n\u00e4chsten Spaziergang \u00a0meine Schritte etwas ehrfurchtsvoller auf die Trompeterstra\u00dfe setzen.<\/p>\n
