a bunch of photographs, MOS: Age of Abundance, Mainz-Kastel, Juni 2017<\/p>\n

Erst sehr \u00fcberrascht und dann sehr beeindruckt hat mich die k\u00fcnstlerische Ernsthaftigkeit des Festivals. Es dreht sich tats\u00e4chlich nur um Graffiti-Kunst, Politik und HIP-HOP Kultur.
\nIch war lange nicht mehr auf einem so unkommerziellen Festival.
\nEs gibt keinerlei Devotionalien (T-Shirts, Kappen, Plakate etc.) zu kaufen, es ist kein Eintritt zu zahlen, es sind keine Stars zu bewundern und das Angebot an Getr\u00e4nken und Essenst\u00e4nden kann man getrost unerw\u00e4hnt lassen.
\nStattdessen liegt \u00fcber dem ganzen Festival eine in Spr\u00fchnebel getauchte Ungezwungenheit und Kreativit\u00e4t, die ansteckend wirkt. Schon nach etwa zehn Minuten habe ich 3 G\u00e4nge runter schalten k\u00f6nnen mich v\u00f6llig dem Rausch der Farben, dem Glanz der\u00a0 Sonne und den flie\u00dfenden Bewegungen des Festivals hingegeben.<\/p>\n

Interessant ist, dass dieses internationale Festival f\u00fcr Graffiti-Kunst tats\u00e4chlich 1997 seine Ursprung am Schlachthof Wiesbaden genommen hatte:

Eigentlich hatte ich die Veranstaltung gar nicht auf dem Schirm und wollte dort weder hingehen noch fotografieren.<\/p>\n

Aber manchmal kn\u00fcpft das Leben lose Enden zu Netzen zusammen.
\nIn gewisser Weise ist dieser Beitrag auch ein Teaser f\u00fcr eine der n\u00e4chsten \u00a0\u201eGeschichten<\/a>\u201c auf taummelland.
\nMein Freund Oli ist mit mir durch Kostheim und Kastel geradelt und hat mir seine \u201eHeimat\u201c gezeigt und beschrieben.
\nAu\u00dferdem war ich ja in M\u00fcnchen \u00fcber ein Museum f\u00fcr Streetart gestolpert (siehe Beitrag MUCA<\/a>). Ich hatte also zwei Ankn\u00fcpfungspunkte \u00a0an \u201eMainz-Kastel\u201c.
\nAber entscheidend war dann dass, wie ihr vielleicht gelesen habt, ich auch auf der \u201eBecherklassen\u201c Ausstellung im Staedl Museum in Frankfurt\/Main war
\n(Beitrag Ausstellungsbesuch<\/a>).<\/p>\n

In meiner\u00a0 Ausstellungsbeschreibung \u00a0weise ich auch darauf hin, dass sich die Foto\u00e4sthetik der Bechers hervorragend zur Selbstaneignung und zum Selber-Ausprobieren eignet und lobe die Trinkhallen Bilder von Tata Ronkholz.<\/p>\n

Kurz darauf entdecke ich, dass das Staedl Museum auf Instagram so ein Social-Media-Spiel startet: \u201eTrinkhallen fotgrafieren wie Tata Ronkholz\u201c.
\nFand ich eine s\u00fc\u00dfe Idee, an der ich auf jedem Fall mit Stricken wollte.<\/p>\n

Nur kannte ich keine Trinkhalle die:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. m\u00f6glichst einzeln steht,<\/li>\n
  2. alt ist und Patina hat,<\/li>\n
  3. \u00fcber der ein gro\u00dfes Schild mit der Aufschrift \u201eTrinkhalle\u201c prangert und<\/li>\n
  4. unglaublich fotogen ist.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Und dann bekam ich einen Tipp: \u201ees gibt da so eine Trinkhalle in Mainz-Kastel\u201c!<\/p>\n

    Also zum dritten Mal Mainz-Kastel! Mein Leben, so schien es mir, verwob sich gerade mit und kulminierte in \u00a0\u201eMainz-Kastel\u201c.<\/p>\n

    Aus der dem\u00fctigen Erkenntnis heraus, dass man dem eigenen Schicksal kein Bein stellen kann, f\u00fcgte ich mich und fuhr samstags nach der Arbeit zum \u201eMeeting of Styles: Age of Abundance\u201c.<\/p>\n
